The high bilirubin- emia is the ordinary diseases for newborns, the macroscopical Jaundice will occur to above 50% term infant and 80% premature. Serious one can effect newborns'intelligence development, jaundice of newborn is the main diseases for newborns. High incidence of a disease, kernicterus is the main reason for infant's cerebral palsy and death caused by grave jaundice of newborn(high bilirubin- emia)

Diagnostic standard for pathological jaundice
1. The Jaundice appears within 24 hours after born, serum bilirubin concentration for term infant >6mg/dl; Serum bilirubin concentration>9mg/dl within 24-48 hours; Serum bilirubin concentration>12.9mg/dl; Premature are 8,12,15mg/dl.

Serum bilirubin concentration for premature >255umol/l(5mg/dl)

2. Serum conjugative bilirubin concentration >34umol/l(2mg/dl)
3. Serum bilirubin rising >85umol/l(5mg/dl)for every day.
4. The Jaundice lasts for long time, exceed 2-4 weeks, or more serious progressively.
5. Appears not early but always can not be cured, or reoccurred after fadeaway
Function features:
